FF Damron is 1st in State and Class!

It was a trip to remember - The FF/EMT class traveled to Richmond, VA. to compete in the SKills USA competitionin Firefighting and EMT. None of the FF/EMTs or Instructors had ever been...talk about a challenge. Armed with limited knowledge of what was to occur, the students were asked for one thing - their hardest concentration and focus for about 15 minutes. After the competition, 3 of them said "We did what you asked for Chief!"

Later that evening - the results were in:

1st Place for Post Graduate students - FF CRAIG DAMRON (Ashburn VFD CO. 6/23

[Note: to win he had to beat the 3rd place student FF's. He did! Of the 22 firefighters competing he was NUMBER ONE!]

3rd Place - FF George Sombatphibane

(Sterling VFD -Co. 11/18)

6th Place - FF Lano Avila Mora - (Sterling VFD - C0. 11/18)

EMS Competition:

4th Place - EMS - FF Brian Delalian - Leesburg VFC- (Co. 1/20)

6th Place - FF Tasha Peach - Loudoun County Vol. Rescue - Co. 13
