The Photo Galleries below are from Firefighter 1 Class of Spring 2006.

The firefighter recruits from volunteer companies all around Loudoun County have spent 5 months training in the beginning aspects of their volunteer career.

From Hazardous Materials Operations to Chemistry of Fire, Prevention, Investigations, SCBA, PPE, Hose, Ladders, Ventilation, Search & Rescue, and so much more, these dedicated "rookies" have been spending 2 nights a week and a weekend day together building their skills, their teamwork, their understanding of the serious nature of firefighting, and actually having fun!

Enjoy the photos - the were accomplished through the efforts of a select group of high quality instructors that pass on their experiences, their knowledge, and the mistakes already made - the recruits don't have time to make those same mistakes!
