LVFC Legends Lost in 2008
![]() Another year has begun and it saddens all of us to see the Legends and Heroes of Leesburg Volunteer Fire Company who have answered the final bell.
March 29 brings word that Past Chief Everett Athey has passed on to the quiet Station in the sky where he can rest with others and know his time has been fruitful on earth. Chief Athey's viewing is Tuesday April 1 from 6p-8p and the funeral will be Wednesday April 2 at 11am

Captain Robert Spinks seved the Leesburg VFC and was always responding day and night to Station 1 - As part of the many members who worked at Tri-County Electric, now NOVEC, Capt Spinks was one of many members that always were dependable volunteers to respond when available during working hours, courtesy of Tri-County Electric. Something you never see today!
